Like Grandma Used to Make

My Grandma Merrell learned how to make candy from a neighbor when their local congregation needed to raise some funds to fix the roof on their chapel. The tradition has been passed on to two generations and it's one of our favorite parts of the holidays! Every October we break out the marble slab and start making chocolates. I make the centers and my wife dips them in molten chocolate!

We're still making the classic flavors Grandma made, Maple Pecan, Mint Cream, Caramel, Mint Truffle, and Rum (and we've added a few she never tried)! A labor of love, our yearly run isn't really that big. We made around 2200 chocolates this year that we'll give as gifts and sell to friends. If you get some of our chocolates, know that we love you. And we hope you love the chocolates!
